KinetX Receives Certifications for AS9100 Rev. C and ISO 9001:2008
Certifications validate company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
KinetX Aerospace, the first commercial entity to provide spacecraft navigation services for NASA
interplanetary missions, has achieved certification for both the AS9100 Rev. C and
ISO 9001:2008 standards. KinetX completed the Stage II audit with no major or minor
nonconformities and no observations, a significant achievement for a small business entity.
“Earning these certifications is a major milestone for KinetX as we are one of a select few
companies our size to achieve this status,” said Tony Goen, executive vice president for Phoenix
Operations and Engineering. “Attaining this recognition validates our total commitment to
providing our customers with quality products and services, and it enables us to pursue business in new
areas and to perform work as a prime contractor.”
The AS9100 Rev. C Quality Management Standard is designed to meet stringent, complex and unique
demands of defense and commercial Aerospace, and is based on a number of quality management principles
including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process approach
and continual improvement.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is implemented by over one million companies and organizations in over 170
countries, and forms the foundation of the quality systems for these and many more companies.
